For the first time we were on time! We arrived at DesertFest venue (Astra), where Beth & Matte welcomed us. We got our passes and stuff and then we had a really awesome backstage breakfast! We loaded-in amps and cabinets, we soundchecked and we were about to rock.. But noone of us expected this epic headbanging awesomeness..
This was a
TRUE BLAST! The venue was packed, the hiliomodian space fuzz was heavy and loud
and everyone had a great time! This was the best way to end up the tour. We
were all so happy and ready to enjoy the festival. We had a great backstage
area, where we had the chance to meet some of our stoner rock heroes.
The
festival also provided a great chillout – food – merch area, where we hanged
out with our friends from Greece (cheers to them!). We also saw the performance
of Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, My Sleeping Karma, Kadavar and Orchid! Good
times! Cheers to DesertFest! We will definitely come back for more!
After some
moshpit accidents, we went back to the hotel to get a proper sleep. Next
morning, we had a doner – club matte breakfast and got back to the van. The
guys dropped me at Orestis' place in Berlin and began their HUGE trip back to
Greece. I miss them already! I' d really like to thank Dani, Gianni, Giorgo,
Labro and Mitso for this experience. ROAD TO BURN!
